Gisela Dedomenico Continues To Provide More APT Approved Training Hours Each Year Than Any Other APT Approved Provider. The Reason Is That Her Workshops Are In Constant Demand.  When It Comes To Sandtray, She Is Simply The Best. I Urge You Take Advantage Of This Golden Opportunity To Attend This Workshop With Gisela.

Gisela has modified the requirements for this summer’s concluding level one sandtray workshop.  It will now be open to anyone who wishes to comply with her requirements, which are very easily completed.  For more information, click here. 2...liana lowenstein, author and play therapist has made her most recent book available at no cost!!  the title is favorite therapeutic activities for children and teens: practitioners share their most effective interventions.  

I know that you will find her play therapy techniques beneficial for your clients.  the first chapter was written by dr. Diane Frey who will be gAPT's Speaker at the march 2009 workshop and annual meeting.  it is about the use of magic in play therapy and offers much helpful information.

5...I Am Pleased To Announce That On Friday March 6 And Saturday March 7, 2009, GAPT Will Present Our Annual Conference And Meeting.  Our Speaker Will Be Diane Frey.  Her Topic On Friday Will Be Using Play Therapy to Enhance Self-Esteem And The Saturday Topic Will Be Anger Management Strategies in Play Therapy.  We Are Excited That Diane Is Again Coming To Atlanta To Share Her Expertise With Us.  Her Reputation As A Presenter And Author Is Excellent. 11…I want everyone to be aware that aPT has a brochure, which can be used to promote play therapy.  it is titled why play therapy?  This full-color brochure introduces play therapy to the general public and other mental health professionals.  It includes photos and research citations and we have handed them out extensively at functions where we promote play therapy. GAPT has a supply and will provide you with a sample copy at your request. 12...I want to heartily recommend that you read and share parents enabled magazine with parents of children with learning difficulties.  this magazine is locally published, is free, and readily available at grocery stores, book stores, etc.

the current spring issue includes articles on summer camps, the science behind neuroimaging, and innovative interventions.  it also has an excellent resource directory. please notice on page 34 that there is a category listing for play therapy.
