1...I Am Pleased To Announce That On Friday March 6 And Saturday March 7, 2009, GAPT Will Present Our Annual Conference And Meeting.  Our Speaker Will Be Diane Frey.  Her Topic On Friday Will Be Using Play Therapy to Enhance Self-Esteem And The Saturday Topic Will Be Anger Management Strategies in Play Therapy.  We Are Excited That Diane Is Again Coming To Atlanta To Share Her Expertise With Us.  Her Reputation As A Presenter And Author Is Excellent. 2...gAPT Wishes To Thank Gisela Dedomenico for her, yet again, outstanding sandtray workshop that she presented on august 8-9.  on a scale of 1-5, Gisela received a score of 4.94 in the category of "presenter was knowledgeable in content area!" congratulations and thank you for twelve years of sandtray workshops.

5... As At All Of GAPT'S Conferences And Workshops A "Networking Table" Was Provided At Our Recent Summer Workshop.  This Table Provides Therapists Another Opportunity To Share Information About Themselves.  Thanks To All Who Participated.

13…I want everyone to be aware that aPT has a brochure, which can be used to promote play therapy.  it is titled why play therapy?  This full-color brochure introduces play therapy to the general public and other mental health professionals.  It includes photos and research citations and we have handed them out extensively at functions where we promote play therapy. GAPT has a supply and will provide you with a sample copy at your request. 14...I want to recommend that you read and share Kids enabled magazine with parents of children with learning differences.  this magazine is locally published, is free, and readily available at grocery stores, book stores, etc. it has an excellent resource directory. please notice that there is a category listing for play therapy.
